Michael ‘Beaz’ Beasley has spent several years as a deckhand and designer onboard the M/Y Bob Barker. While at sea, he has been involved in some of Sea Shepherd’s most successful whale defence and IUU fishing campaigns. He has travelled to Taiji and the Faroes Islands to defend small cetaceans and in recent times he has turned his attention to the growing issue of marine plastic pollution.
Now based on land in Australia, Beaz continues his design work, taking inspiration from wild places and species he seeks to protect, in order to create a range of logos, posters, banners, flyers, educational and training material, merchandise designs and artworks for Sea Shepherd.
